Dream

There is a statement in Aamir Khan's new TITAN ad. "bachpan me toh bahut kuch karna chahte the, then why not now".
How true that statement is...
As a school girl I never seriously thought of taking up any particular profession...
But as i grew up, one fine day i listned the conversation of my cousin with her friend who was mentioning about studying dentistry and taking it up as her profession...
So i thought i too would become a dentist as i didn't know about any other profession...
After a few years (when my mind was quite matured but not completely), i decided to be an IPS officer as i read about Kiran Bedi and wanted to be like her...
As i entered my graduation i realised that i couldn't be like her as i lacked many of the qualities required for that profession...

By the time i completed my graduation i realized i did have interest in English literature and would continue studying the same, though studying psychology was my second preference...
But later, i chose the latter subject considering the university that i would get into...
But even then my love for literature hadn't diminished, till today at some corner of mind i feel i would have chosen literature instead of psychology...

Ofcourse there were these little desires in me like taking up courses in fine arts, photography, interior decoration and many more....

Well there is soooo much to do and so less time...
But right now only thing that should be my aim is to bring up girl and being a good mother...
Yet, i need to find some time to fullfil my dreams because soon my daughter would give her list of dreams which i have to look into as a mother...

ms, you still could always read up on literature. we have critical analysis and other kinds.

when it was time for me to choose my under-grad course. i was in a dilema too. i thought i liked the arts - mass comm and communicative english. but i guess biology won. but i'm still in touch with arts. at times, i think that a professional degree is really not essential for one to read on a subject.

i think u should write more.
